Laparoscopic radical prostatectomy is now routinely performed at University Clinic for Urology – Skopje, for surgical treatment of prostate cancer. It is the only Center that offers laparoscopic prostatectomy in the region. Laparoscopic approach has some advantages over open radical prostatectomy, including less blood loss and pain, shorter hospital stays and faster recovery times.
